Exercise Therapy plays a crucial role in recovery from injuries, event preparation, injury prevention, strength and fitness maintenance, fall avoidance, and achieving body symmetry and optimal functionality.
A qualified professional will assist you in reaching these objectives through a personalized program designed specifically for you.
Our private gym/studio, located on-site, is effectively utilized by clients for various activities, including weight training, posture correction, core muscle strengthening, clinical pilates and rehabilitation following an injury, all within a supervised setting.
Benefits of Exercise Therapy
The adage ‘If You Don’t Move It, You Lose It’ undeniably holds a significant truth. Life unfolds with various challenges, including injuries, illnesses, time constraints from work and familial obligations, shifts in mood and motivation, and a plethora of other factors. However, a qualified exercise therapist can tailor a program that seamlessly integrates into your lifestyle.
Exercise therapy may encompass a gym or home gym regimen, ranging from gentle exercises to intensive weight training; you might also require cardiovascular workouts or a specialized rehabilitation program following an injury. Our team, consisting of Myotherapists, Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates, Massage Therapists, Personal Trainers, and Exercise Prescription specialists, is committed to helping you achieve your objectives, regardless of what they may be.
What distinguishes Exercise Therapy from gym based Personal Training? The key difference lies in the depth of knowledge and its practical implementation. Our Therapists possess comprehensive expertise regarding the musculoskeletal system and the dynamics of joint and soft tissue interactions that facilitate human movement.
Exercise Therapy is primarily focused on specific aspects such as injury recovery and prevention, post-surgical rehabilitation, post-partum recovery, trauma healing, achieving body balance, postural alignment, core strengthening, and overall patient education.
All of our Exercise Therapists and Personal Training staff are certified and registered with APA, ANTA, MMA and Ahpra.
What To Expect

Assessment
Most of our clients are in the process of recovering from injuries and are provided with a tailored program to support their recovery. If you are not yet a client, a member of our exercise therapy team will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your injury or condition, fitness level, current capabilities, range of motion, objectives, and limitations, and will create a customized program for you.

Exercise Prescription
Our exercise therapy team will provide you with the most effective exercise program tailored to your assessment, objectives, and desired results. This may involve the use of our private gym or studio, a home-based program, hydrotherapy, core training, pre and postnatal exercises, a stretching regimen, stability and balance training, postural correction, and additional options.

Monitoring
Once we provide you with a plan, we do not simply leave you to manage it on your own. Based on the specific requirements, we will modify your program every 4 to 6 weeks. This approach allows the body to adjust and gradually introduce new challenges. A consistent recovery process is optimal, as it enhances the body’s strength and helps to avert additional injuries or the worsening of your condition.

Prevention & Education
How can one prevent future issues from arising? Our team is prepared to guide you in executing your exercises correctly, thereby minimizing the aggravation of any existing problems and averting further injuries. We will instruct you on the correct usage of equipment and the appropriate body positioning to maximize your benefits.
