Mr Owen Gerrard

Owen has been working as a remedial massage therapist for 9 years and for the last 11 months has been providing home visits for many clients across Melbourne, as well as his regular clinic hours. He graduated from Holmesglen Institute with a Cert 4 in Massage in 2015 and then further his studies, earning a Diploma of Remedial Massage,  in that same year. Owen is very active and enjoys cycling, strength training and progressive calisthenics, the knowledge of which both influences and informs his treatment methods and professional practise. As an active person, Owen understands the need to ensure one’s body is working in optimal condition and he endeavours to assist his clients in achieving this, or any other goal they may have.

Treatment methods;

Owen uses a variety of techniques to maximise the effectiveness of his treatments, including:

• Trigger point therapy
• Myofascial release
• Deep tissue massage
• Sports massage
• Corrective exercises.
